JSW Energy Elevates Chandrasekaran Prabhakaran to Whole Time Director

JSW Energy appoints its Chief Financial Officer to the Board as Director (Finance), effective 28 October 2026, for a five year term.

JSW Energy Limited has appointed Chandrasekaran Prabhakaran as an Additional Director and Whole Time Director, designated as Director (Finance), effective 28 October 2026. The appointment is for five years, subject to shareholder approval.

Prabhakaran, who serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, brings over 26 years of experience in corporate finance, financial accounting and corporate governance across major listed companies. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with extensive expertise in financial management and regulatory compliance.

Associated with the JSW Group since November 2014, Prabhakaran has considerable experience in Ind AS and IFRS financial reporting, statutory compliance, internal controls, audit management and SEBI listing and disclosure requirements.

Throughout his career, he has managed significant mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring initiatives, capital market transactions and fundraising activities. His professional experience also includes tax optimisation and the digital transformation of finance operations across the manufacturing and natural resources sectors.
