Nehal Shah Appointed Group Head – Legal, Compliance & Secretarial at ASK Group

Blackstone-backed ASK Asset & Wealth Management Group appoints Nehal Shah to lead its legal, compliance and secretarial functions.

ASK Asset & Wealth Management Group, backed by Blackstone, has appointed Nehal Shah as Group Head – Legal, Compliance & Secretarial. The appointment strengthens the Group’s leadership across legal affairs, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

Shah brings more than two decades of professional experience in legal and compliance leadership. Before joining ASK Group, she served as Executive Director – Group Head, Legal & Compliance at Ambit Private Limited. She has also held senior positions at CARE Ratings, YES Asset Management and Deutsche Bank Group. Earlier in her career, she worked with Fidelity India and the Aditya Birla Group.

In her new role, Shah will lead ASK Group’s legal, compliance and secretarial functions. Her responsibilities will include overseeing governance frameworks, managing regulatory engagement and providing leadership across legal and compliance matters.

Shah is an Associate Company Secretary (ACS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). She also holds an LL.B. degree from Mumbai University and a postgraduate qualification in Securities Laws from Government Law College, Mumbai.
