Lupin Limited has appointed Akhil Gupta as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective November 3, 2026.

Lupin Limited has appointed Akhil Gupta as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective November 3, 2026. Gupta brings over four decades of professional experience across corporate leadership, financial services, telecommunications, infrastructure and business advisory.

Gupta previously served as Vice Chairman of Bharti Enterprises Limited. He currently serves as Non-Executive Independent Chairman of 360 ONE WAM Limited, Coforge Limited and Valuedrive Technologies Limited. He is also an Independent Director on the boards of Lodha Developers Limited and Zepto Limited, and a Nominee Director of Acevector Limited.

In addition to his corporate board responsibilities, Gupta is the President of the Telecom Sector Skill Council and previously chaired the Digital Infrastructure Providers Association. He has also been associated with the Advisory Committee on Service Providers of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India and the sub-committee of the Insolvency Law Committee, Government of India.

Gupta is also the Chairman of Inversion Advisory Services, where he advises several prominent companies across diverse sectors.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Gupta has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts.
