Shailesh Jejurikar Appointed Chairman Of P&G While Continuing As CEO
Procter & Gamble appoints Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of the Board while he continues as President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding retiring Chairman Jon Moeller.
Procter & Gamble (P&G) has appointed Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective August 1, 2026. He will continue to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer while assuming the additional responsibility of Chairman.
The appointment follows the retirement of Jon Moeller, who stepped down from the Board on July 31, 2026, and will retire from the company on August 14, 2026, after a 38 year career with P&G.
Before becoming President and Chief Executive Officer, Jejurikar served as Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw Enterprise Markets, Information Technology, Global Business Services, sales, manufacturing, distribution, and purchasing operations. Earlier, he led P&G’s Fabric and Home Care business, which includes global brands such as Tide, Ariel, and Febreze.
Jejurikar currently leads P&G’s operations across more than 180 countries, serving billions of consumers worldwide. Since joining the company in 1989, he has built more than three decades of leadership experience across businesses including Health and Beauty Care, Home Care, Fabric Care, and P&G Professional.
In addition to his business leadership responsibilities, Jejurikar has contributed to P&G’s global sustainability initiatives and serves on the boards of organisations supporting community development and healthcare initiatives.
