Shveta Arya To Step Down As Managing Director Of Cummins India

Cummins India Managing Director Shveta Arya resigns to pursue external opportunities, effective August 31, 2026.

Shveta Arya has resigned as Managing Director (MD) of Cummins India Limited to pursue external opportunities. Her resignation will take effect from August 31, 2026.

Arya currently serves as Managing Director of Cummins India and leads the company’s Power Systems Business Unit. In this role, she has been responsible for driving growth across the power generation and industrial businesses serving both Indian and global markets.

During her tenure, Arya led the launch of the CPCB IV+ product range for the Indian power generation market and played a key role in strengthening the company’s market presence. Earlier, she served as Distribution Business Leader for Cummins India, where she focused on business expansion, and also held the position of Strategy Leader for Cummins in India.

In addition to her executive responsibilities, Arya serves on the Boards of Tata Cummins Pvt. Ltd., Cummins Generator Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., and Valvoline Cummins Pvt. Ltd. She is also an Ex-officio Trustee of the Cummins India Foundation.
