Srihari Mulgund Appointed As Chief Strategy Officer Of Hero MotoCorp

Srihari Mulgund joins Hero MotoCorp as Chief Strategy Officer, bringing over two decades of experience in automotive engineering, product development, and strategy.

Srihari (Sri) Mulgund has been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Hero MotoCorp Limited, effective August 17, 2026.

Before joining Hero MotoCorp, Mulgund was a Partner at EY-Parthenon, where he led strategic engagements across electric vehicles, batteries, internal combustion engines, supply chains, and new mobility. He previously held roles at Aisin AW and FEV Inc. and served as President of Ricardo Strategic Consulting, India.

Mulgund has authored research papers covering battery swapping, software-defined vehicles, alternative battery chemistries, and hydrogen internal combustion engine technologies. He brings more than 24 years of experience across automotive engineering, product development, and strategic planning.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, an MS from the University of Toledo, and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
