Hitesh Kumar Sethia Reappointed As CEO And MD Of Jio Financial Services For Another Five Year

Jio Financial Services Extends Hitesh Kumar Sethia’s Leadership Term From November 2026

Hitesh Kumar Sethia has been reappointed as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Jio Financial Services Limited for another five year term. His new tenure will begin from November 15, 2026 after the completion of his current term.

Sethia brings more than two decades of experience in the financial services sector across Europe, Asia and North America. A significant part of his professional career was spent with ICICI Bank where he worked across several key areas of banking and financial services.

His professional expertise includes credit, retail banking, corporate banking, transaction banking, technology applications, strategy, compliance, risk management and team building. Sethia was also part of the team that established ICICI Bank’s operations in Canada and became the bank’s first employee in Germany.

He subsequently held senior leadership and country head positions in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Later, he took charge of transaction banking operations in Mumbai.

In addition to his leadership role at Jio Financial Services, Sethia serves on the boards of several Jio Group companies. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.

His reappointment is expected to provide continuity to the leadership of Jio Financial Services as the company continues to expand its presence in the financial services industry.
