Binod Kumar Mishra retires from State Bank of India as Deputy Managing Director (Special Projects – OPR), effective August 31, 2026.

Binod Kumar Mishra has retired from the services of State Bank of India (SBI) upon superannuation, with effect from August 31, 2026. He was serving as Deputy Managing Director (Special Projects – OPR) at the bank.

Mishra joined SBI in 2014 and held several senior leadership positions during his career. He served as Regional Manager, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Digital Officer (Dy MD & CDO), and Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (Dy MD & COO), before taking charge of Special Projects – OPR.

Before joining SBI, Mishra served as Chief Financial Officer of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. and later as Chief Operating Officer of SBI Funds Management Pvt. Ltd. He brings extensive experience across banking operations, digital transformation, financial management, and leadership.

Mishra holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.
