Levi Strauss & Co. Appoints John Vandemore as Chief Financial Officer
Levi Strauss & Co. has appointed John Vandemore as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026, succeeding Harmit Singh following his planned retirement.
Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.) (NYSE: LEVI) has appointed John Vandemore as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026. Vandemore will succeed Harmit Singh, who is retiring following a planned transition period.
Vandemore brings more than 25 years of finance leadership experience across global consumer, retail and entertainment businesses. He joins Levi Strauss & Co. from Skechers U.S.A., Inc., where he has served as Chief Financial Officer for the past nine years. At Skechers, he led the global finance organisation and also provided oversight of the company’s operations functions.
During his tenure at Skechers, the company expanded its global presence across more than 180 countries and operated through both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. The company also grew its revenues to more than $9 billion while expanding its margins.
Vandemore will join LS&Co. as the company continues its strategy focused on direct-to-consumer growth, strengthening the Levi’s brand and expanding its global retail presence.
Singh had announced his intention to retire from the company in April 2026. He will remain in his current role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial & Growth Officer until Vandemore joins the company and will then serve as Special Advisor through November 30, 2026, to support the transition.
