ADTRAN Holdings Appoints Dr. Christian H. Terlinde to Board of Directors

Dr. Terlinde brings over two decades of financial leadership experience across multinational manufacturing companies and international markets.

ADTRAN Holdings, Inc., a global provider of networking and communications solutions, has appointed Dr. Christian H. Terlinde as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective October 27, 2026.

Dr. Terlinde brings more than 20 years of senior financial leadership experience at multinational manufacturing companies, with operational exposure across Europe and North America. Having lived and worked in both the United States and Germany, he also brings international business experience relevant to ADTRAN’s global operations and customer base.

He currently serves as Group Chief Financial Officer of Flender International GmbH, a multinational manufacturer of industrial and wind gearboxes. Before joining Flender, he was Group CFO of JOST Werke SE, a publicly listed German manufacturer of components for commercial and agricultural vehicles. In that role, he oversaw finance, investor relations, legal and compliance. His earlier leadership positions include CFO roles at Benteler Automotive GmbH, MAHLE GmbH and ista North America, Inc.

ADTRAN CEO Tom Stanton welcomed the appointment, highlighting Dr. Terlinde’s financial expertise, experience as CFO of a publicly listed German company and understanding of both the U.S. and German markets.

Dr. Terlinde holds a doctorate in business administration, earned magna cum laude, along with graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. He has also completed an executive education programme at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Additionally, he has taught U.S. GAAP, IFRS and German GAAP accounting at university level and serves on the examination board for German Certified Public Accountants.
