KPIT Technologies Appoints Anant Talaulicar as Chairman

KPIT Technologies Limited has appointed Anant Talaulicar as Chairman of the Company, effective October 28, 2026.

KPIT Technologies Limited has appointed Anant Talaulicar as Chairman of the Company, effective October 28, 2026. Talaulicar brings extensive leadership experience across the automotive and manufacturing sectors, having held several senior management positions during his career.

He served as Chairman and Managing Director of the Cummins Group in India from March 2004 to October 2017. He was also a member of the Cummins global leadership team from August 2009 to October 2017 and served as President of the Cummins Components Group from 2010 to 2014. In addition, he held the position of Managing Director at Tata Cummins Private Limited, a 50:50 joint venture between Cummins Inc. and Tata Motors Limited. He has also chaired the boards of four other Cummins legal entities in India.

Before moving into general management, Talaulicar worked across various functions, including financial analysis, manufacturing engineering, project management, product management and strategy. He currently serves on the boards of seven companies in India and teaches leadership part-time at the SP Jain Institute of Management & Research.

Beyond his corporate and academic engagements, Talaulicar sponsors the Usha Jaivant Foundation, which supports financially disadvantaged students from rural communities through college education and life-effectiveness skills development.

Talaulicar holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mysore University, a master’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an MBA from Tulane University in the United States.
