Former Tata Motors Vice Chairman Ravi Kant retires from the Board of Hawkins Cookers after completing his tenure as Independent Director.

Ravi Kant has retired as an Independent Director of Hawkins Cookers Limited upon completing his tenure on the company’s Board, with effect from August 3, 2026.

Kant is a seasoned corporate leader with nearly five decades of experience across the extractive industries, consumer durables, and automobile sectors. He spent 15 years at Tata Motors, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO & MD) before being elevated to the position of Vice Chairman of the Board.

Throughout his career, Kant has held leadership roles spanning business operations, corporate strategy, and organisational management. He joined the Board of Hawkins Cookers in 2016 and contributed to the company’s governance and strategic oversight during his tenure as an Independent Director.

Kant holds a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and a Master of Science in Management from Aston University.
