Apurva S. Diwanji Appointed As Independent Director Of Zydus Wellness

Corporate law expert Apurva S. Diwanji joins the Board of Zydus Wellness as Independent Director for a five-year term.

Apurva S. Diwanji has been appointed as an Independent Director of Zydus Wellness Limited for a term of five years, effective May 18, 2026. The appointment was approved on August 4, 2026.

Diwanji has been associated with Desai & Diwanji for more than three decades, advising clients on domestic and cross border transactions, corporate governance, transaction structuring, competition law, foreign investment regulations, and securities matters.

He currently serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Torrent Power Ltd., Bajaj Life Insurance Ltd., Bajaj General Insurance Ltd., and TUV India Pvt. Ltd. He is also actively associated with industry and social organisations, including the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A legal professional with over 32 years of experience, Diwanji has expertise in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and joint ventures. He holds a Master of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
