Akila Krishnakumar Completes Tenure As Independent Director Of IndusInd Bank

Akila Krishnakumar retires from the IndusInd Bank Board after completing her tenure as Non-Executive Independent Director, effective August 9, 2026.

Akila Krishnakumar has ceased to be a Non-Executive Independent Director of IndusInd Bank Limited, effective August 9, 2026, following the completion of her tenure on the Board.

Krishnakumar is a technology and business leader with around three decades of experience across technology-driven companies and enterprise-scale solutions. She previously served as President of Global Technology and Country Head at SunGard until February 2013.

She also served on the Board of State Bank of Mysore from June 2016 to March 2017. During her tenure at IndusInd Bank, Krishnakumar chaired key Board committees, including the Compensation Committee, Nomination & Remuneration Committee, and IT Strategy Committee.

Over the course of her career, she has held leadership and Board positions across global markets, with experience spanning technology, operations, talent management, and customer engagement. She has also served on the Boards of Matrimony.com, Hitachi Energy India, and TTK Prestige.

Krishnakumar holds a Master’s degree in Management Studies.
