Dr Martens Appoints Kate Vacovec as Global Commercial Finance Director

Dr Martens has appointed Kate Vacovec as Global Commercial Finance Director, with the former Pizza Hut CFO set to join the footwear company in early October 2026.

Dr Martens PLC, a London-based footwear company, has appointed Kate Vacovec as Global Commercial Finance Director. She is expected to join the company in early October and will lead its global commercial finance team.

Vacovec joins Dr Martens from Yum! Brands Inc, where she held senior finance leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer for Pizza Hut’s international operating markets, bringing extensive experience in global consumer businesses and commercial finance.

In her new role, Vacovec will report to Dr Martens Chief Financial Officer Giles Wilson and will be responsible for leading the company’s global commercial finance function.

Wilson welcomed Vacovec to the business, highlighting her broad range of experience and skills. He also noted her reputation as an energetic leader with a strong track record of driving growth for global consumer brands.
