Tritax Big Box Appoints Nick Prettejohn as Chair Designate

Nick Prettejohn will join the Tritax Big Box Board as Chair Designate and succeed Aubrey Adams as Chair on January 1, 2027.

Tritax Big Box REIT PLC, a London-based real estate investment trust focused on UK logistics properties, has appointed Nick Prettejohn as Chair Designate. He will join the Board on October 8, 2026 and succeed current Chair Aubrey Adams on January 1, 2027.

Prettejohn currently serves as Chair of Reach PLC, the publisher of UK newspapers including the Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Sunday Express and Daily Star. He has held the position since 2018 and previously served as Chair of TSB Banking Group PLC, Scottish Widows and Brit Insurance.

In addition to his role at Reach, Prettejohn serves on the boards of polling company YouGov PLC, Lloyds Banking Group PLC and Legal & General Group PLC. His extensive board experience spans financial services, insurance, media and corporate leadership.

Commenting on his appointment, Prettejohn said he was pleased to join Tritax Big Box and honoured to take on the role of Chair Designate. He highlighted the company’s strategic progress and its position for the next phase of growth.

Tritax Big Box thanked outgoing Chair Aubrey Adams for his leadership, service and significant contribution during his tenure. The company said Adams had overseen a period of substantial growth.
