GAIL Appoints Manoj Kumar Sharma as Director (Projects)

Manoj Kumar Sharma has assumed charge as Director (Projects) of GAIL (India) Limited, effective September 19, 2026.

Manoj Kumar Sharma has assumed charge as Director (Projects) of GAIL (India) Limited, effective September 19, 2026.

Sharma brings nearly three decades of experience in the oil and gas sector, with expertise in project management, engineering, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance of hydrocarbon pipeline networks and terminal projects.

Prior to joining GAIL, he served as Executive Director (Projects), Pipelines Division and Executive Director & Regional Head, Eastern Region Pipelines at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). He has also served as a nominee director on the boards of GSPL India Transco, GSPL India Gasnet and Kochi Salem Pipeline.

Sharma holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Production and Industrial Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from XIMB, Bhubaneswar.
