SBI Funds Management Ltd. Appoints R.S. Srinivas Jain as Joint CEO and Key Managerial Personnel, Effective October 13, 2026
SBI Funds Management Ltd. (SBIFML) has appointed R.S. Srinivas Jain as Joint Chief Executive Officer and designated him as Key Managerial Personnel, effective October 13, 2026. Jain brings more than 34 years of experience in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector, including 27 years in the mutual fund industry.
Jain currently serves as Executive President at SBIFML, overseeing Strategy, Digital and Technology, Marketing and Investor Relations. He has been associated with the company since May 7, 2001, and has handled several key functions during his tenure, including strategy, information technology, digital operations, marketing, investor relations, products, international business and overall sales.
His extensive experience across strategic planning, technology, investor engagement and business development has contributed to his broad understanding of the mutual fund industry and its operations.
Jain holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Vijaya Evening College, affiliated with Bangalore University. He has also cleared the intermediate examination of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
In addition, he holds a certificate in NISM Continuing Professional Education for Mutual Fund Distributors, Level 1, from the National Institute of Securities Markets. He has completed a management development programme in creative problem-solving and decision-making at XLRI, Jamshedpur, and the Business Leadership Programme at the Indian School of Business (ISB).
His appointment adds extensive industry experience and cross-functional leadership expertise to SBI Funds Management’s executive leadership team.
