Surf Air Mobility Inc. (NYSE: SRFM), an air mobility platform, has appointed Jason Secore as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 30, 2026. Secore succeeds Oliver Reeves, who is stepping down as CFO to pursue other opportunities and will continue to support the company as an advisor.
Secore brings 18 years of finance leadership experience across the aviation, aerospace and technology sectors. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Matternet, an autonomous aviation technology company, where he led the global finance organisation and the financing and reverse-merger transaction that took the company from a venture-backed private business to a publicly traded company.
Prior to Matternet, Secore held senior finance and treasury leadership positions at Arconic, AAR Corp. and Republic Airways. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Frontier Airlines and US Airways. His experience includes public-company finance and investor relations, capital markets, operational and financial transformation, strategic transactions, aircraft financing and the development of finance and governance infrastructure.
Secore holds an MBA from IE Business School, an MS in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis and a BA from Northwestern University.
Reeves had served as CFO during the early phases of Surf Air Mobility’s Transformation Plan and will continue his association with the company as an advisor. The company has acknowledged his contributions during his tenure.
